More from Dublin

Carly's just posted her pics from Dublin on Facebook, so I picked a few good ones for the blog...
This was the "morning after" shot--kegs lined up for collection outside a pub
A group of buskers who turned out to be from Portland, of all places!
Richard & me in Temple Bar

More shots from our Guinness pouring class
We're all taking it so seriously!

Dublin

Richard & Me in St Stephen's Green

The duck pond in St. Stephen's Green

Archway leading to Grafton Street

The Stag's Head pub where we met Carly & Matt for lunch

I love the dark wood & stained glass windows

And there's a giant Moose head on the wall above the bar--not a stag's head...

Dublin Castle gates

Our amazing room at Russell Court Hotel

Grafton Street

Marks & Spencers

Molly Malone statue

Trinity College

River Liffey

The Four Courts

Christchurch Cathedral

I love this bakery's name...

I tried to take a shot of James Joyce House of the Dead, and a Guinness truck got in the way...

It's where he set his story "The Dead"--I haven't read it, but when I saw "James Joyce House" on the sign, I thought it meant that it was where he lived...

Learning how to pour the perfect pint

Inside the Guinness Storehouse museum

I love the old advertisements!

That's a lot of Guinness!

The Gravity bar, with amazing views of the city

Ha'penny bridge

Parnell monument--Charles S. Parnell founded the Irish Parliamentary Party in 1882 and was a key figure in the movement for Irish nationalist movement

Live music in Temple Bar--we saw more later in the Old Storehouse pub, too. They were both amazing!

Temple Bar

These public art works were really funny

I had to look up Larry Murphy--he's a suspected serial killer in Ireland

On a lighter note, I loved how all the shops have "Molly" as one of the most popular names...at last!

I love this vintage neon sign above the jewellers!
