Malham

A side view of the cliff from the walk back down

The limestone's been cut and smoothed by rain over the years

Sheep!

View of the Dales from the top of Malham Cove

Malham Cove from the ground--that rock wall is 600 feet high! There's a path with stairs that goes up the hill on the left side there to get to the top.

On Sunday we went out to Malham, a little town in the North Yorkshire Dales National Park. We had lunch at a pub and hiked out around Malham Cove. It's really cool, and has some amazing views of the Dales. I loved the drive out there, too--winding country roads, too narrow for cars to pass each other--at one point we were slowed down by a couple of sheep in the road, just like in the movies!
